Sheila Willson talking to Helen Long
October 2009
Sheila came to Clairview Road as a baby and spent her childhood there. These are her reminiscences of her very early childhood during the Second World War and later childhood in the 1950s. This is a fascinating account of life in Furzedown during that time. Sheila describes the local shops on Mitcham Lane as well as the local schools she attended. Sheila has now returned to live in her childhood home after many years living in Battersea.
